Eugene, OR - December 19, 2005 – Effective December 19, 2005, PEAK Internet, a premier Oregon Internet Services Provider (ISP), is proud to announce the acquisition of OregonNet.com, LLC. PEAK will be assimilating the OregonNet customers in the Eugene/Springfield area including Fern Ridge, Junction City, Halsey, Coburg, Harrisburg, Goshen, and Creswell. The existing OregonNet customers currently subscribe to a variety of services, including dial-up Internet, email, web hosting, colocation services and high speed wireless Internet service.

We know we will have to work hard to earn their trust, but we’re confident that all of the OregonNet customers will see only positive changes in their services. Thaddeus Pritchard founded OregonNet in 1998 with the express purpose of providing quality Internet services to local customers in the Eugene/Springfield area. In June of 2002, OregonNet assumed the customer base of PremiereLink, a local Internet company, and then expanded the service area in February of 2003 by launching groundbreaking wireless service from Spores Point. OregonNet subsequently began broadcasting from four local “hotspots” to further expand the wireless coverage.
Located in Corvallis, Oregon, PEAK Internet was founded in 1992 and was acquired in 2002 by Casco Communications, an Oregon-based company owned by Pioneer Consolidated and Consumers Power.
